Biography

Mary was a Friend (Quaker)
Mary (James) Davis was a William Penn fleet passenger.

Mary James was born circa 1681, most likely in or near Llandegley, Radnorshire, Wales. She was the daughter of David James and Margaret Jane (Mortimer) James (abt.1659-1751). [1] [2][3] She was the daughter of David James and Margaret Mortimer of Llandegley, Radnorshire, Wales.

Immigration

When Mary James was an infant, she traveled to Pennsylvania on the 'Bristol Factor' with her parents David and Margaret James.[4][5] Their arrival was documented by the Radnor Monthly Quaker Meeting in 1683.[6]

Marriage

Mary James was married to John Davis on July 4, 1705 at Radnor Monthly Meeting in Chester County, Pennsylvania.[7]

Death

Mary passed away in March 1732 in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.[8]
