Biography

  • Her first name spelled various ways, but spelled Rheuey on the tombstone.
  • She is listed on the 1850 Census of Pike Township, Coshocton County, Ohio with her parents, she was 4 years old. However, her parents were married in 1845 in Muskingum County, Ohio. Her mother, Martha Jane Morgan, was born near Dresden, which is in Muskingum County, between Zanesville, the county seat and Coshocton, which is the county seat of Coshocton County. It is likely they were married at the residence of the bride's father, but established the farmstead in Coshocton county as shown in the 1850 census.
