Elizabeth was baptised privately at St Nicholas', Chadlington, Oxfordshire on 29th November 1831.[1] She was the daughter of Thomas Huckin and Mary Savage. Her father stated on the register that he was a labourer and there is a note that she was "received into the church" on Christmas Day.
