Biography

Elizabeth Ann Horsfield was born in 1863 in New South Wales to Joseph Horsfield and Frances (Thompson) Horsfield. ^[1]

She married Henry Blanchard King in 1883 in New South Wales. ^[2]

Together they became the parents of George Alastair King, Joseph H. King, Constance May (King) Tracy, and Arthur Norman King,

By 1890 Henry was farming at Evandale on the Isle of Wellington in New Zealand. ^[3]

Elizabeth and Henry separated in 1905. A divorce was finalized in November 1921, and Henry passed away in 1927.

She passed away on 10 July 1947 in New Zealand and was placed in an unmarked grave in Wakapuaka Cemetery at Nelson City, Nelson, New Zealand. ^[4]
