Biography

Ann was sometimes referred to as Anna; she was also called Elizabeth on the baptism record for her son Charles. However, the baptism entry for her youngest child, Florence, makes clear her colloquial name was Ann so Elizabeth was likely an error or the name she was born with.

She died 22 April 1885 at Inchicore House, Kilmainham, age 43. Her name is given as Anne Josephine Holohan, wife of a shipping agent. Her cause of death is listed as bronchitis.^[1]

Edward was a widower at the time of the 1901 census implying that Anna had died before 31 March 1901.
