William Heisler was born in 1829, and died on November 12, 1899. He was the son of George Heisler and Maria Yost. He passed away in 1899.
He was an apprentice compositor at the Minersville Journal in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, becoming the foreman and relocating to Denver, Colorado in 1861, where he was foreman of the Rocky County News. He returned to Pennsylvania, where he was employed by William F. Murphy Sons.
