Biography
George Heisler was born on June 16, 1784, in Germantown, Pennsylvania, the son of George Jacob and Anna Kinninda Heisler, and died on December 28, 1848, in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.
George Heisler was a surveyor.
He lived in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, then to Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania and then to Pottsville, Pennsylvania, where the family had a house on North Center Street.
He served as a Justice of the Peace in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.
He married Anna Maria Yost, the daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth Barbara (Hillegas) Yost, on March 8, 1807, in Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
He is buried in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.
