Biography

Patrick was born in Castleford, Yorkshire on 6 January 1902. He was the second son of John William Haley and his wife Margaret.

Patrick lost his father at the age of 1. He and his siblings were thus raised by their mother and her widower father in her hometown of Batley. While their mother remarried in 1913, she was again widowed in 1915 when her second husband was KIA in Belgium. She did not remarry again, continuing to raise her children in Batley while living with her father.

Patrick appears in the 1939 register at 46 North Bank Road, Batley under the surname variant of Healey. He passed away under the Healey surname variant in the Dewsbury registration district in 1968.
