Biography
Gabriel Gontier was born on August 29, 1778 in Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse, Province de Québec, son of Gabriel Gonthier (1749–1811) and Marie Josephe Élie (1751–~1830).[1]
Gabriel (27) married Genevieve Naud (21) (born on January 20, 1785 in Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse; daughter of Joseph Nault and Genevieve Paquet) on January 21, 1806 in Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse, Bas-Canada.[2] Their son was Gabriel Bernard (1820– ).
