Biography
Gabriel was born and baptized on March 13, 1749 at Beaumont, Québec.[1]
He was the son of Étienne Gonthier and Marie Louise Lice
He married Marie Josephe Élie, daughter of Pierre Marie Élie and Françoise Dorval, on Janaury 7, 1772 at Saint-Michel-de-Bellechase, Québec.[2][3]
He died on April 17, at the age of 66 years, and was buried on April 19, 1811 at Saint-Charles, Bellechasse, Québec.[4]
