update - the previous text was deleted; the Gateway Guardian initiative was retired 7 February 2022. Thank you for serving in that role for Henry Isham.
Hi again Casey! I see you've got your pre-1700 badge. Congrats! I can award you the Magna Carta Project badge now & set you up as Gateway Guardian for Henry Isham. That's the first requirement for Magna Carta Project. The second is to develop a trail (using the project's checklist), which you can meet by re-reviewing Henry's trail. If you need help, let me know. If you changed your mind about participating in the project, let me know. We also have Affiliate membership (which has no participation requirements).
Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention those profiles need.
Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up gedcom biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!
Hi Casey! The Magna Carta Project requires a pre-1700 badge, and it may be that you won't be able to self-certify for that badge for a few more days. (Help:Pre-1700 Profiles lists a requirment as "Participate as a member for at least one week." - I think it starts counting either when you Volunteer or when you sign the Honor Code. If you aren't able to self-certify today, try again on the 11th. Don't worry, you can still get signed on to the Magna Carta Project as a Guardian for Henry Isham at that point.)
Cheers, Liz
P.S. I'll send you a private message about getting started on the next profile on Henry's trail even before you get the badge.
I am pleased to confirm you as a full member, and welcome you to the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.
I would suggest starting with the How-to pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.
I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a name back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site
Happy tree climbing

WikiTree has two relatively new stickers - Template:Relationship_Sticker and Template:Connection Sticker - that you might want to use if you're related to or connected to the Gateway. There's also the Template:Descendant sticker that you can use. To see tailored coding for these stickers (e.g., with the Magna Carta Project logo), please see Space: Magna Carta Stickers#sticker.
Thanks! Liz
