Transcription of Death Notice: "We regret to notice the death of Mr. Isaac Gillham - another of the Gillham family, in the American Bottom, in this county. This makes the fourth brother that has been carried off within a few months. They were among the oldest settles in the county, and justly esteemed as among our worthiest and most respectable citizens"
Research Notes
Isaac Gillham stated he was born 10 Nov 1757 in his pension application.
His grave marker, placed by Daughters of the American Revolution as a memorial many years after his death, gives birth date as 17 October 1757. [4]
Even if Isaac had given his modern Gregorian calendar birth date, the Julian calendar birth date would be 30 October 1757, not 17 October 1757.
