Family marriage fact: My grandpa Reverend James Elwood Gibbs met grandma Kathleen May Distefano at his nephews wedding of Raymond and Janice Shonio. We think he stood up for nephew at the wedding and Janice was grandma’s friend from high school and grandma stood up for Janice. This is first hand info provided to me by my family
I remember him singing and playing his guitar. I remember his faith with Jesus was strong as he was a pastor. I have his recording of him singing. He was a quiet reserved man and a very peaceful spirit. I miss his hugs and good advice. We miss him and will love him always.
