Michelangelo Gennaro, the son of Antonino Gennaro and Antonina la Rosa, is born on 10 July 1796 in Corleone, and is baptized the same day. His godparents are Francesco d'Anna and his wife, Biagia.[1] He is named after his paternal grandfather.[2]
His father dies by 1808, when his mother remarries, to Vincenzo Spatafora.
Michelangelo marries three times, first to Angela Pennino, on 3 June 1821.[3]
Michelangelo and Angela have at least seven children: Antonino (c. 1823), Giovanni (c. 1825), Lorenzo (c. 1828), Luciano (c. 1829), and Maria Carmela (1842) .
Antonino is named after his paternal grandfather. I estimate he is born within a couple years of his parents' marriage.
Giovanni is born around 1825, based on his reported age at death.
Lorenzo is born in 1828.[4] When Lorenzo is born, his father is thirty years old and a villico.[5]
Luciano is born around 1829, based on his age at the birth of his son, Michelangelo.
Maria Carmela is born 11 March 1842 and baptized the next day. Her godparents are Dottore Antonino di Gregorio and Donna Maria Carmela Pellegrino.[6][7]
Antonino marries Maria Cutrera on 17 January 1847.[8]
Lorenzo marries at least twice, first to Leoluchina Panepinto.
Giovanni marries Giovanna Lisotta on 13 January 1850.[9]
Maria Carmela marries Salvatore Cutrera on 24 October 1859, when she is 17 years old. Her parents are both still living.[11]
Michelangelo remarries, to Domenica Paternostro, on 7 January 1867. All four of their parents have died by this time.[12]
Domenica dies at age 54 (b. 1818) on 4 October 1872. Michaelangelo survives her.[13]
Michelangelo marries for the third time on 9 February 1874 to Antonina Maria Russo, daughter of Stefano Russo and Rafaela Cortimiglia, and widow of Giuseppe De Luca.[14]
Lorenzo's first wife dies in 1876 and he remarries in 1891 to Margherita Panepinto, of unknown relation to Leoluchina. He and his father are borgesi.
Michelangelo dies at the age of 96 (b. 1797) in January 1893 in his house on via Borgognoni 10 in Corleone. This record identifies Michaelangelo as a borgese.[15]
Lorenzo dies at age 74 (b. 1828) on 2 February 1902, the widower of Leoluchina Panepinto.[16]
Giovanni dies at the age of 78 (b. 1825) on 5 August 1903. His wife, Giovanna, survives him.[17]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Michelangelo by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Michelangelo:
