Biography

John Ford was born on March 18, 1694 in Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts Bay Colony^[1] He was the son of Joseph Ford and Lois Stetson Ford.

John Foord (sic) married Mary Cushing on January 1, 1723 in Pembroke.^[2]

John died at the age of eighty-two years old on March 25, 1776 in Pembroke, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. ^[3] He was buried in Pembroke Centre Cemetery at Pembroke.

Probate

The will of John Foord of Pembroke, yeoman was dated 8 April 1774 and proved on 6 May 1776 in Plymouth. He mentions his wife Mary (executor), and his children Adam Foord, Seth Ford, Abigail Ford, John Ford, Wait Ford (executor), and Lot Ford. His inventory was taken o n21 May 1776 in Pembroke.^[4]
