Francois Dubreuil, b. 7 November 1877, Raymond, NH (per marriage record , however there is no known birth in Raymond by this name. Baptised the next year at Saint-Barnabé-Sud, Quebec [5][6]
He likely died in December 1888 from drowning, as a death is recorded in Wauregan, Connecticut, however the Frank Wood who died then is listed as having different parents. (Alex and Celia Wood)
His granddaughter recalls that she was told he passed when her father was an infant [7]
Burial is unknown.
Research Notes
It was previously unknown whether this is the correct F. X. Dubreuil, however review of naturalization paperwork indicated a Frank Wood born in Saint Dominique on this date, residing in Plaistow, which had no other Dubreuil/Wood families residing there at the time. [8]
I have personally looked through the record of the following towns in an attempt to locate their marriage records: Keene, NH, Plaistow, NH, Raymond, NH, Lowell, MA, Haverhill, MA, Killingly, CT, Sprague, CT, and within Quebec: Saint-Hyacinthe, Saint-Anne-d'Yamachiche, Saint-Dominique. I have also checked various spellings in the database at American Canadian Genealogical Society.
Though there is a death record in Putnam Connecticut for a Frank Wood in December 1888, this record lists his parents as Alex and Celia.
