Biography

Émilie was born in 1799. Émilie. She was a 'natural child', of unknown parentage. She was baptized under conditions on 21 Nov 1818, in St-Benoît church, and was given the age of 19 by the priest on the record, who called her Émélie Woods. Her godparents were Hilaire Joubert and Magdeleine Cheval, who both signed the record.^[1]
