Biography
Louis Joseph Sire, son of Jean Cyr and Francoise Melanson was baptized 29 Dec 1718 in Beaubassin, Acadia. No date of birth was recorded. His godparents were Charles Bourgeois and Marianne Sire.[1]
Louis Joseph married Marie Josephe Cormier about 1739 in Acadia. These are their known children:
- Joseph CYR b: 4 Jun 1740 in Beaubassin, Acadia c: 4 Jun 1740 in Beaubassin, Acadia
- Jean Baptiste CYR c: 2 Oct 1741 in Beaubassin, Acadia
