Hello Yvette,

I'm researching my ancestors that settled in Quebec, Canada: Soldiers and Fille du Roi. I 'm researching Pierre Lesiege dit Lafontaine b.1636 Sarlet, Dordonge, France His parents were: Jean Louis Lesiege and Marie Anne Grondin.

I found a site that lists his name as a soldier: Sorel company regiment of Carignan the site is: https;//www.francogene.com/gfna/gfna/998/carignan.htm Would it be possible to add this information to his profile? Gail

Hi Yvette,

Can you please remove the category Filles du roi from your profile. It only applies to them, not to their descendants. I'm quite certain you cannot be that old.  :D

Hi Yvette

You received a message a couple of weeks ago about the new-look Global Cemeteries Project but we have not yet heard back from you. If you would like to continue in the project, please can you PM me your team(s) selections and your e-mail address for the Google group.

If I don’t hear back from you by this time next week I’ll assume you no longer wish to be in the project at this time.

Many thanks,

Darren :-)

Hi Yvette,

We’ve made some exciting changes to the Global Cemeteries Project. The sub-projects have been merged into the Global Project to help with Leadership and to facilitate collaboration.

Some roles within the project have changed. From now on, there are Project Coordinators for each continent, and one for Welcome and Integration, plus Team Leaders for each individual Country etc.

Please let me know if you’d like to stay on in the new project, if you’d like to continue in an existing role, and which team(s) you’d like to be on. Please also give me your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the project’s Google Group.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi Yvette,

I’ve not heard back from you so presume you don’t want to continue in the Canada Project at this time so have gone ahead and removed your badge. If that changes anytime you would be most welcome to re-join in the future.

Hi Yvette,

I haven’t yet heard back from you to say whether or not you’d like to continue in the Canada Project. Please can you let me know if you’d like to stay, what team(s) you’d like to be in, and let me know your e-mail address so I can add you to the project Google Group? If I haven’t heard back from you by this time next week I’ll assume you no longer want to be in the project and go ahead and remove you. You would, of course, be most welcome to re-join at any time.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi Yvette,

Greg Lavoie, Dave Rutherford and I have put a lot of work into restructuring the Canada Project. Have a look at the new project page.

You'll see that we've changed the project name to the Canada Project and the badge will be changed shortly. We've done this in order to provide lots of ways for people to contribute to Canadian Profiles. We've also moved towards a team approach with top level teams being lead by Project Coordinators and sub-teams being lead by Team Leaders.

Would you like to continue in the Canada Project, and if so, which team(s) would you like to be on?

Let me know if you have any questions. Once I hear back from you I'll add you to the Google group and get you set up in your team(s).
