Biography
When Jeanne Croteau was born on 2 July 1670, in Sillery, Québec, Canada, New France, her father, Vincent Croteau, was 26 and her mother, Jeanne Godequin, was 21.
She married Antoine Francheville dit Bessières on 26 November 1685, in Neuville, Portneuf, Quebec, Canada. They were the parents of at least 5 daughters.
She then married Philippe Bareil on August 15, 1709 at Notre-Dame de Montreal, Island of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. They were the parents of at least one child.
She died on 8 May 1717, in Quebec City, Québec, Canada, New France, at the age of 46, and was buried in Notre-Dame de Québec, Quebec City, Québec, Canada, New France.
