John, son of Thomas Croasdale and Agnes (Hawthornewaite) Croasdale, was born on the 11th day 5th month 1666 (the Quaker 5th month equates to July) with his birth recorded by Settle Monthly Meeting, Yorkshire of the Society of Friends.[1][2].[3]
He came with his family, aboard the "Lamb" in 1682,[4][5] and settled in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.[6]
John died 10 m. 16, 1706.[7][6] He was buried on the 16th day of the tenth month 1706, a Quaker date equating to 16 December 1706.[8]
He married Marah Chapman, 2m 28 1697.[6][9] After his death Marah married 2nd John Wildman and had Mercy and Elizabeth Wildman.[6]
