The following article was in "The Clyde Herald" newspaper dated 10 Nov 1886: One of the severest of afflictions to a family has lately occurred to that of Mrs. M. B. Morgan, near Ames. Since last April she has burried her husband and five children. Previous to this time, or one year ago, she burried her first. The last of these expired November 5th. His name was Joseph Oliver; age, 18 years, 9 months, and 7 days. Much credit is due Rev. Frisbey and wife, for the manner in which they attended and looked after the wants of this afflicted family. Mrs. Morgan has six children left and started last Tuesday to her old home in Hocking county, Ohio.”
