Albert William Coulter Jr. was born on December 15, 1894 in Collins, Drew County, Arkansas to Albert William Coulter Sr. and Edna Julia (Walker) Coulter. In 1910, he lived in Caddo, Montgomery County, Arkansas and worked as a clerk in the general store. By 1917, he had moved to Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma and worked as an accountant for Gulf Pipe Line Company.
On February 16, 1919, he married Mattie Adeline Hankins in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During World War I, he enlisted in the United States Army on June 28, 1918 and was discharged on January 17, 1919.
In the following years, Coulter continued to live in Tulsa and worked in various positions. In 1920, he was a bookkeeper for an oil well and supply company. In 1930, he owned his home valued at $5,000 and worked as a commercial traveler for a hardware company. In 1940, he worked as a salesman for Gates Hardware company. In 1950, he worked as a salesman for a wholesale company.
Albert William Coulter Jr. passed away on May 24, 1983 in Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma.
