Biography

Earl Hildebrand Coulter was born on August 8, 1885 in Ashley County, Arkansas to parents Albert William Coulter and Edna Julia (Walker) Coulter. In 1900, he lived in Carter Township, Ashley County, Arkansas. By 1910, he had moved to Tishomingo, Johnston County, Oklahoma where he lived on Neshoba Avenue and worked as the deputy marshall for the Northern District, 8th Circuit Indian Territory.

In 1917, Coulter lived in Kingston, Marshall County, Oklahoma where he was the secretary treasurer and general manager for the Holmes Willis Company. By 1920, he had moved to Willis Township, Marshall County, Oklahoma where he owned his own store and worked as a dry goods merchant. In 1930, Coulter lived on Jackson Street in San Angelo, Tom Green County, Texas and worked as a traveling salesman for a Tool Manufacturing Company.

In 1940, Coulter lived in Eldorado, Schleicher County, Texas where he rented his home for $15 a month and worked as a tailor in a tailor shop. In 1957, he still lived in Eldorado and worked as a dry goods merchant. Unfortunately, Coulter passed away on December 30, 1957 in Eldorado due to an acute coronary occlusion. He was buried at Eldorado Cemetery in Eldorado.
