Biography

William Corkum (54) is on the 1871 census with wife Maria (51) and their children; Austin (25), Zenas (23), Emanuel (21), Cassindra (19) and Rosanna (13).^[1]

William Corkum (65) is on the 1881 census with wife Maria (62) and their son Emmanuel (31) with his wife Sophia Emeline (23) and children; Norman S (2) and Esther Alberta (6 mos).^[2] Next door are other probable sons or at least Corkum relatives.

Emmanuel Corkum (40) is on the 1891 census with wife Emma (34) and their children; Norman (11), Esther (10), Alice (8), Bennett (4), Rosanna (3), Edna (1) and his father William (76).^[3]

William Corkum passed on 4 Dec 1894.^[4] He was buried at Bayport Cemetery in Lunenburg County.^[5]
