Vincenzo Collura is born in Corleone on 19 January 1880 and baptized two days later, named after his maternal grandfather. He is the son of Giuseppe Collura and Maria Ligotino. His godfather is Mario d'Antoni, who is unmarried.[1]
Note: There is another Vincenzo Collura of no known relation, who is 18 years younger and an associate of Michele Navarra.
In 1895, Vincenzo and his sister, Rosa, stand as godparents to Giovanni Rizzotto, son of Placido. Vincenzo and Giovanni are first cousins, once removed. The relationship to the trade unionist who is killed in 1948 is not yet known. Possibly, the older Placido Rizzotto is the younger one's paternal grandfather. Cascio-10 11:43, 15 November 2015 (EST)

Vincenzo's final destination and contact are listed as "Franklin, LA to friend Mariano Baglio'". Mariano is Francesco's brother.[4][5]
In 1908, Giovanni and his sister-in-law, Giuseppa, immigrate to Ramos, Louisiana, in the United States, to join Vincenzo, who has paid their passage.[6]
