Elizabeth Clifford was born about 1751, based on her stated age at death. According to Stackpole's History of Winthrop, Maine, in which he apparently incorrectly refers to her as "Sarah" Clifford, she was the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Gove) Clifford, of Kensington, New Hampshire.[1][2]
She married Simon Page, son of Samuel and Mary (Clark) Page, in Kensington on April 20, 1769, as his first wife. Elizabeth appears to have died of complications shortly after the birth of their only child:[1][2][3]
