Biography

Mathieu Donatien Chauvin born 25 May 1838 baptized 25 May 1838 St. Joseph Catholic Church in Thibodaux, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana was the son of Zenon Chauvin and Madeleine Robichaud.[1]

Donatien married 17 October 1860 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Thibodaux, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, Nancy Ann Phipps, daughter of Nicolas Phipps and Donatien and Nancy had the following children:
