Biography

Parents, Birth

 Taylor Albert Louis Chauvin, son of Louis Hippolyte Chauvin and Eugenie Marie Robichaux, was born 1 Nov 1848 in Thibodaux, Louisiana.[1]

Marriages, Children

 Taylor first married Maria Victoria Savoie, daughter of Pierre Lucien Savoie and Rosite Aglae Martin, on 27 May 1872 at the Terrebonne Parish Courthouse in Houma, Louisiana.[2] Maria died on 26 Feb 1873 - just nine months after they married.[3] No children were born to this marriage.

 Taylor then married Rose "Victoria" Moutardier, daughter of Florentin Moutardier and Florence Susanne Dupre, on 27 Dec 1875 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut, Louisiana.[4] Their known children were:

  2. Joseph Xavier Chauvin:
    • Born: 6 Oct 1883[6]
  3. Paul Albert Chauvin:
    • Born: 2 Oct 1885[7]

Death, Burial

 Taylor died on 21 Nov 1920[8] and is buried in the Saint Ann Cemetery in Bourg, Louisiana.[9]
