Biography

Leufroy Chauvin was born on September 18, 1843 in Thibodaux, Lafourche, Louisiana, United States, son of Zenon Chauvin (1821–<1900) and Mathilde Marie Baudoin (1822– ).[1]

In 1860, Leufroy (16) was in the household of his father, Zenon. [2]

Leufroy (21) married Amelina Malvina Blanchard (21) (born on February 11, 1843 in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana) on December 10, 1864 in Houma, Terrebonne. Their children were:

In 1920, Leufroy (76) was living in Bayou Du Langer, Terrebonne, Louisiana. [3]

In 1930, Leufroy (86) was living in Terrebonne. [4]

Leufroy died on December 28, 1930 in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, aged 87. He was buried in Saint Eloi Cemetery, Theriot, Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana.[1] [5]
