Biography

Calogero was born in Santa Margherita di Belice in 1847 to Maestro Antonino Cascio, a baker, and Santa Viviano ^[1]. In 1874 at age 27, he married 20-year-old Vita Mauceri ^[2].

Calogero's marriage record indicates that he was a manufacturer/seller of knives.
