There are many "John Carvers" in this family line and the documented ones are as follows (numbers following name are mostly my attempts to keep them straight):

Caution: The father of Christopher Carver of Lancaster County is often said to be John Carver (1687-1769) of Philadelphia with his wife Isabelle (Weldon) Carver. However, Christopher does not appear in the records of the Abington Monthly Meeting with their family, and John & Isabelle do not have any known connections to Lancaster County. Biography
John Carvers, child of John Carvers and Mary Carvers, was born on 21 January 1688 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[1]
John inherited part of his father's estate and "like his father, followed the occupation of a maltster in addition to that of farming. The malt-house was about twenty yards south of the present Carver Mansion, and was the only malt-house in that section of the country.[2]
John Carver of Byberry, received certificate to marry Isabell Welden of Philadelphia Monthly Meeting, 8 month 1716. [3]
John Carver and Isabel Welding announced their marriage intentions for the first time at the Philadelphia MM on 26 October 1716 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[4]
John Carver and Isabel continued their marriage intentions for the second time on 30 November 1716 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[5]

According to the Byberry Monthly Meeting records, John Carver died 14th of the 5th mo 1769.[7]
