Biography

Joseph Carrier was born 29 Mar 1819 to Louis Carriere and Marguerite Bonenfant. He was baptized 29 Mar 1819 at St Regis, Quebec Province, Canada. [1] [2]

He married Jeanette Vermet 22 Feb 1841 at Erie - St Joseph Catholic Church, Monroe, Michigan, United States.[3][4] They had at least the following children:

Notes on Marriage

The marriage record from the church register names the parents of the bride and groom however the groom's father is incorrectly named David Carriere. It should be Louis Carriere. The civil record (found at Monroe County Courthouse) does not name parents.
