Antonio Canzoneri, the son of Leoluca Canzoneri and Lucia Labruzzo, is born and baptized on 17 June 1863 in Corleone. His godmother is Maria Rosa Moscato.[1]
A large party from Corleone, all bound for New Orleans, appears on the manifest of the Kronprinz Friedrich Wilhelm, sailing from Palermo via Naples and arriving on 17 October 1894 in Ellis Island. Antonio is among them. A partial list follows:

At least two of Antonio's siblings also emigrate. His brother, Giuseppe, makes more than one trip. He has two daughters born in the United States, Lucia in New Orleans in 1887 and Maria in 1894 in Houston. Through Maria, Giuseppe is the father-in-law of a New York City mafioso, Calogero Rao.
Antonio's sister, Francesca, emigrates with her husband, who dies in Jeannerette, Louisiana, in 1902.
He passed away in 1941.
