Biography

Lillian Mae "Lillie" (Byler) Grainger was born in November of 1873 in Kansas. She was the youngest of the four children born to Jonathan Byler and Adeline (Gerber) Byler.

Lillie married Francis Ernest "Frank" Grainger on the 23rd of November 1898 in Los Angeles, California.[1] Their daughter Leenona was born in 1901. Lillie was one of the forty-nine people that drowned in the tragic accident involving the steamer Dix in 1906.[2]
