Biography
Christian William Byler was born in July of 1868 in Indiana. He was the third of the four children born to Jonathan Byler and Adeline (Gerber) Byler.
Christian married Irene in February of 1894 in Los Angeles, California. They had at least one child, a daughter they named Christine Mecca Byler.
Christian died in the tragic Dix steamboat accident in which forty-nine people drowned.[1] He was thirty-eight years old.
