Biography

Charles Edward Byler was born in February of 1864 in Ohio. He was the oldest of the four children born to Jonathan Byler and Adeline (Gerber) Byler.

Charles married Ethel May Nott on the 16th of September 1891 in Seattle, Washington at the age of twenty-seven.^[1]

Charles died in the tragic Dix steamer accident in 1906. His brother Christian and sister Lillie died in the accident as well.^[2]
