Mary was born in 1872. She was the daughter of Patrick Brown and Mary Ann Stone. She passed away in 1925.

Mary Quinn

Mary Quinn, age 45, dies in Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, PA., following a week's illness of pneumonia.

Mary was born in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne, PA., on May 18, 1872, and baptized on May 26, 1872 at St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, by Rev. C. A. Mattingly; Sponsors, James Carney and Margaret Jordan.

She was the daughter of Patrick A. Brown and Mary Ann Regina Stone, Brown.

Mary married her Husband Michael Quinn on April 5, 1905 at St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception Church, Wilkes-Barre.

They had the following children Together: James Quinn, Mary "Mae" Quinn, Thomas Quinn, Richard A. Quinn, Louise Kathryn Quinn, and Ruth Ann Quinn.

OBITUARY:

Mrs. Mary Quinn, aged 45, died yesterday morning at 11:20 o'clock in Mercy hospital following a week's illness of pneumonia.

Mrs. Quinn is the sister of the Chief of Police Michael Brown of Wilkes-Barre City and resided at 340 Stanton street.

BURIAL:

Funeral of Mrs. Michael Quinn

The funeral of Mrs. Michael Quinn, was held from the home, 342 Stanton street, yesterday morning at 9 o'clock. A largely attended high mass of requiem was celebrated in St Patrick's church at 9:30 o'clock by Rev. S.H. O'Connell.

There were many flowers.

Interment was in the family lot in St. Mary's cemetery at Hanover. Rev. Father O'Connell gave the final benediction at the grave.

The pall bearers were all nephews of deceased: Francis P. Brown, Leo, James James, Bernard, Emmett, and Francis T. Brown.

She resided in that vicinity for may years, was highly esteemed and a member of St. Patrick's Church.

Surviving are the following children: Mary, Thomas, Richard, James, Louise, Ruth: three sisters, Bridget, Catherine, and Jennie Brown, and two brothers, Michael and Martin Brown.
