Patrick died at home at 340 Stanton Street, Wilkes-Barre of general debility

Patrick was born in Ireland in about 1843 the son of Patrick Brown, and Bridget Scanlon. Patrick immigrated from Ireland in 1864-1865 He married Mary Ann Stone on August 22, 1865, by Rev.Henry Fitzsimons, in the presence of James Stone and Helen Jordan Witnesses, at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Church, Dana Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA., the church is now located on N. Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

Last evening at 5 o'clock Patrick Aloysius Brown, who for some time was suffering with a slight aliment, but which was not considered serious, succumbed to the call of death. Up until the hour of his death he had been walking about. He became suddenly ill before supper and in a few moments passed away.

Deceased was one of the best know residents of this city, having settled here many years ago and was respected by all who knew him.
