Biography

Ada L Brock was born in September of 1878 in Danby, Tompkins, New York. She was a daughter of Alfred Brock and Hannah Woodruff. She lived with her parents and siblings in Danby through 1892.^[1][2] Her father died in 1895. In 1900, Ada and a few of her siblings were living with their mother in Danby.^[3] Their mother, Hannah, died in 1904. In 1910, Ada continued to live with her siblings in Danby.^[4]

Ada married Fred Parshall on January 24, 1918 in Tompkins, New York.^[5] From 1920 through 1930, they were living in Danby with their children.^[6][7] Ada was widowed by 1940 and she had her daughter living with her in Spencer, Tioga, New York.^[8]

She died after a brief illness on October 3, 1940 in Spencer, Tioga, New York.^[9][10]
