Biography

Homer was born 28 Jun 1915 in Granbury, Texas. He was the son of Mike Brady and Fannie Rollins.

The 1920 Census shows Homer 4 at home with his parents Mike 31 and Fannie 28 with and Homer's siblings Fleta 13; Eula 9; Lucille 6: and Pauline 1. They are living in Justice Precinct 4 of Hood County in Fall Creek Community, an unincorporated community to this day. ^[1]

The 1930 Census shows Homer 14 with parents Mike 41 and Fannie 37 with Homer's siblings Eula 19; Lucille 17; Pauline 12: Hortense 5; and Thurman 3. There is also Joe Cogdill, a boarder. They are living in Precinct 2 of Crosby, Texas. ^[2]

Homer married Maxine Irene Weatherford 30 Nov 1937 in Lubbock, Texas. ^[3]

The 1940 Census shows Homer 24 and wife Maxine 22 (the census says Marie). They are living on Ave. K in Lubbock. Homer is working as an installer. He owns his home. ^[4]

He registered for the draft 16 Oct 1940. ^[5]

They had 3 children: Homer H. Brady, Donald Larry Brady and his twin, Ronald Terry Brady. ^{[6] [7]}

The 1950 Census shows Homer 34 and Maxine 32 with children Ronald 7, Donald 7, and Homer 2. They are living on 46th Street in Lubbock. Homer owns his own business and says he is a plumbing contractor. We know it as Brady Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling in Lubbock. ^[8]

He and Maxine divorced 14 Sep 1984. ^[9]

He married Bonnie L Brady (don't know her maiden name), on 26 Oct 1984. They divorced 7 Jan 1986 in Val Verde, Texas. ^[10]

He passed away on 10 Sep 1999 in Lubbock at age 84. There was an obit 15 Sep 1999 in the Hood County News. ^[11] He is buried in Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock. ^[12]
