Biography

Susan Elizabeth was born on 14 Nov 1884. She was the daughter of Charlie Brady and Mary A. Allgood.

The 1900 Census shows King 70, wife Susan 59; son Moses 22 and grandchildren Susan 14 and Mike 11. Mike and Susan's father Charlie died and their mother remarried. Where is Jack? They are living in Hood County, Texas. [1]

She married Walter McAfee "Bud" Henslee on 11 Nov 1906 in Hood County. Their children were Mary T., Blanche M.; Rankin George; Cora N.; Lancaster D; Lillie; Rayford Walter; Pierce; and Geraldine. [2]

The 1910 Census shows Walter M. 22, farmer; wife Susan 25, daughter Mary T. 2 and Blanche abt 9 months. They are in Hood County, Texas. [3]

The 1920 Census shows Walter 31, wife Susan 35, with children Teresa 12; Blanche 10; Rankin 8; Corinne 6; Lancaster 3; and Lillie 1. They are still in Hood County, Texas. [4]

The 1930 Census shows Walter 42, wife Susie 45, children Rankin G. 18; Cora N.16; Lancaster 13; Lillie 11; Rayford 8; Jewel D. 4; and Pierce 1. [5]

She passed away on 8 Feb1934 at 49 in Hood County. She is buried in Fall Creek Cemetery in Hood County. [6]
