Biography

Maston Wiley Boxx was born 7 July 1866, in Butler, Missouri, the son of Hardy Box and Hester King

The family were living in Cane Creek, Butler, Missouri in 1870. Hardy, (on the census as Hardie Baux) was age 59, and was living with his wife Hester, and children Jonathan, Elizabeth, Henry, Tabitha, Wiley and Andrew. His son William with wife Elizabeth and baby Hardie were living next door ^[1]

Maston married Margaret Seats on 20 February 1889 (alternative date 2 March 1889) in Butler, Missouri, USA ^[2]

The 1900 census, taken in Johnson, Carter, Missouri, showed Maston, age 35, with his wife Margaret, and children William, Delia, Maud, Burt (shown as a son but should be a daughter), and Thomas^[3]

Maston died on 10 June 1901, in Grandin, Carter, Missouri, USA, and was buried in the Seats Family Cemetery ^[4]
