While a minor child, his father was the guardian of his estate, especially regarding his land allotment,[2] with oil and gas leases: "Ikey Boon, Creek, by Peter Boon, Mounds, NW4 NW4 16-14-12." [3]
The 1920 Census[4] calls him Isaac by mistake, (Isaac died in 1906) and shows him at age 16 in the home of his parents in Beggs Township, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma. He is a student in public school.
Ikey married Alice Dancy in 1923.[5] Their known children:
The 1930 Census[5] shows him at age 28 with his wife and four children in Hamilton Township, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma. He and his family are using the surname Stidham or Stedham. Son William continues with that name while most of the others revert to Boon.
His wife Alice died on 24 Oct 1932 in Okmulgee County, Oklahoma. [6] The surname Stidam is on her death certificate.
Ikey Boon married Mary Etta Perry, both of Preston, Oklahoma, in 1934.[7] It does not appear that they had children.

His World War II Draft Registration Card,[9] signed on 14 Feb 1942,shows his next of kin as Mary Boon, and they live in Preston, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma. He is described as 5 feet 7 1/2 inches, 190 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, and a black complexion.
