Biography
Frances was the mother of the world-renowned pioneer aviator, Herbert "Bert" Hinkler.
Frances Atkins Bonney was born on 28th August 1866 at Gympie, Queensland (Australia), the daughter of Edmund Bonney and Mary Noake. [1]
Frances married John Hinkler in 1892 in Bundaberg, Queensland. [2] They had three sons and two daughters.
She passed away on 5th September 1953 in Bundaberg, Queensland [3] on 5 Sep 1953 aged 87 years. [4][5]
