Hi Richard,

The Australia Project leadership team are carrying out a check-in to see how you are going in the project and especially to thank you for all your work on Australian profiles on WikiTree. We really value your participation.

Please could you get back to me by private message to let me know if you are happy with your current role and team involvement within the project or if you would like to do something additional or different. Currently we do not have a team for you listed. The Australia Project page has the list of teams for you to review, could you let me know which of the Project teams you would like to be a part of.

It would also be great to hear any feedback and any suggestions that you have to improve the project. On a practical note, if you are a member of the google group, are you receiving messages ok? Also do you have Australia as one of the tags you are following on the G2G? Don't forget to add it in if you don't have that tag yet.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards

Margaret Haining Membership Coordinator

Hi Margaret, Sorry, I have just seen your post, and am not sure whether I have replied. My Wikitree involvement is trying to get my family in, and that seems to be all I can do at present. I'm adding the people to build the structure, then going back and adding as much story as I can. Vertically first then horizontally. its over 1500 contributions (not much by others standards but for me ...) so am steadily getting them all recorded.

Regards Richard R

Hi Richard, yes you must replied at some stage, we have you listed as not able to be active in the Project, so you were removed from the Project list. You are of course, welcome to rejoin at any time, by answering the Project joining post, https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1164200/would-you-like-to-be-a-part-of-the-australia-project-in-2021

Good luck with your family research, and thank you for all your contributions to WikiTree, they are much appreciated. Regards, Margaret

Hi Richard

I'm following up my post on your profile about your interest in continuing as an active member of the Australia Project. We really hope you would like to stay involved and look forward to hearing from you as soon as convenient.

The Australia Project page has the list of teams for your to review, as well as our minimal requirements for active membership. If you have decided that you don't have time to contribute at the moment, that is absolutely fine too, and you can rejoin whenever you wish. Regards Gillian, co-Leader, Australia Project

Hi Richard

On behalf of the Australia Project leadership team, we're carrying out a Project Members Check-in to see if you are still interested in being involved as an active member of the project. In particular, we are ready to launch our new teams for the project. Please could you let me know what team/s you would like to contribute to. A list of teams is on the Australia Project page. Please respond by private message.

We really appreciate your enthusiasm in working on Australian profiles on WikiTree, and thank you for all the work you have been doing. We look forward to hearing back from you and that you will decide to be part of the project as we move forward with the new teams for the project. Regards, Gillian

Hi Richard,

I haven’t heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you don’t wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.

Many thanks for all your contributions,

Susie :-)

Hi Richard,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hello Richard

Welcome to Wikitree! Good to see another member with an interest in Australia on the site. i see you have already joined the Australia Project.

Hi Richard

I’m the new Project Coordinator for the England Project. I am contacting you, as there have been some recent changes to the project which we are keen to bring to your attention. Please look at the England Project page for more information on the changes and the ways members are able to actively contribute moving forward. Once you have considered how you would like to participate, please contact either myself or Susie to let us know. We can then list your involvement, help you join the Google group forum for England, and give you any other help you may need to get going. If we don’t hear back from you we’ll assume you do not wish to be a part of the England Project for the time being. We really hope you will join the team! Gillian

Hi Richard and thanks for your message on G2G.

I've added the United Kingdom Project badge to your profile. If you click on the badge it will take you to the full list of our wonderful members. Click on England Project will take you the first page of the project. Scroll down to Member Interests. I've added your good self here and on the UK Project member interests page.

Thanks again for joining, enjoy and good luck with your research

Hi Richard,

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified! Based on your pre-1700 ancestors, it looks like your going to be working on profiles that fall under the United Kingdom Project.

Project participation is strongly encouraged, so check out the project and add the united_kingdom tag to your profile. That way you'll see all of their discussions in your G2G Feed and any changes to related pages.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Susie ~ Volunteer Coordinator :-)

Congratulations!

We've made a change in how the tutorials are sent to new members. Instead of weekly messages you can now work at your own pace, so this is the last message.

How is it going so far? Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?

We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.
