Biography

Biagio Birtone is born and baptized 7 July 1829, named after his paternal grandfather. He is the son of Antonio Birtone and Vittoria Castro. His godparents are Giuseppe and Maria Marino, a married couple.

Biagio marries Biagia Marino, daughter of Salvatore and Lucia Ligotino, on 23 September 1861.

Biagio and Biagia stand as godparents to Leoluca Maringo, son of Calogero Maringo and Bernarda Grizzaffi, on 31 August 1863.

Biagio dies at age 69 (b. 1829) on 29 July 1898. His wife, Biagia, survives him.
