Biography

Samuel Bird was born in 1770's and died in the 1850's. Born in the county of Donegal, near Londonerry, Ireland. Samuel married Letiria King (abt. 1773-2 March 1868). The family emigrated to New Brunswick some time before 1825 and settled at Birdton, Parish of Douglas, York County, New Brunswick, about 1825. He is said to have been killed by a falling tree when he was about 80 years of age.
