Emily Mary Belyea was born on 21 Nov 1858 in Ashland, Brighton, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of Oliver Ackerley Belyea (1825 - 1877) and Margaret Elizabeth (Kinney) Belyea (~1828 - ). She married her second cousin Ernest Bulyea.
