Infant Son is Called to Rest
Robert Lee Bechler, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Bechler, Route 3, West Bend, passed away Friday, April 18, in St. Joseph's hospital. He had been ailing four weeks with pneumonia, aggravated by other complications. The little boy was born Aug. 6, 1946, at the local hospital, making him just eight months and 12 days of age at the time of his death. Besides his parents Robert leaves one sister, Doris Mae, his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kempf of this city, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Bechler of Campbellsport, and his paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Ida Schwartz of Madison.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 21, at 1:30 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral home and at 2 p.m. in St. John's Lutheran church, where the Rev. W.P. Sauer officiated. Burial was in Union cemetery here.
